ABOUT US
Liberation Community Finance is a micro finance institution that comes with a new business purpose of ensuring that people with limited access to funds but rich in ideology and energized to achieve their dreams and goals receive credit funding, knowledge and skills are inspired and empowered to achieve their social economic aspirations.
LCF was founded in 2014 in Kiwoko Nakaseke District and is currently serving over 3000 customers, 72% are women with 5 branches and still growing steadily.
We are a rural and peri-urban microfinance institution and we provide small loans to the rural populace with a purpose of ensuring financial inclusion. We strongly believe that small loans well utilized are a strong medium of economic transformation in rural areas.
We use a modern banking software (Savings Plus), we engage in rural micro credit(small loans to individuals and groups), we also provide financial inclusion services like agency banking, mobile money, money transfers and utility payments. We are strategically located to serve the rural population.

Governance
We are fully registered under the Laws of Uganda and we have all the required operation licenses.
We are also members of the Association of Micro Finance Institutions of Uganda (AMIFU).
We are regulated by the Uganda Microfinance Regulatory Authority(UMRA)
Our Software
We use a robust core banking software “SAVINGSPLUS” provided by Future Link Technologies (FLT). Its strong in mobile banking, reports and reconciliations.
